Girls Raising Hands Program
This program is aimed at reaching school-going teen girls who are vulnerable and requires help in acquiring the monthly feminine hygiene materials. Our priority goes to candidates during the national examinations period to ensure that the girls are cared for and get comfortable through-out their exam period. At YPC, we support our vulnerable girls whenever need arises and also all the girls when they open school. We look forward to supporting the girl –child because womanhood is a special gift from God which should not be a frustration.
Girls Can Do Anything
Entrepreneurship: The main aim of this program is to equip girls with vocational skills that will help them economically, as well as to help them with their small businesses. We introduced a sewing program in April 2025, where we started with two sewing machines and two girls. The program has grown to accommodate five girls and increased the number of sewing machines to five, with the help of our supporters.
