Hello friends, meet Shirleen, one of our holiday camp beneficiaries. Shirleen is a cheerful teen who interacts freely with the teens and mentors during our programs.
She is in grade 12 and glad that she is doing her last school term in high school.
She joined our program in 2019 through one of her friends. She says that through the camps , she has learnt a lot in computer skills and the mentorship programs and made so many friends. “I am very grateful that I am now finishing high school and through the years, I have called Youth Promise a home because of their support, love and all the friends I have made during the programs.
Shirleen wants to become a doctor and we are hopeful that she can perform well in the National Examinations coming up in two months time.
After the examinations, she is set to come back for two months so that she is able to refine the skills and get herself a certificate and this will be very helpful in the future.
